NumberOne is an “extreme” impulsive scalper.
It trades on price impulse retracement that very often happens after a strong, impulsive, market movement. It’s a counter-trend scalper that send a stop order and moves them near the price.
This strategy needs a very high order execution quality.
A minimal trailing distance of two or three pips from the current price is is also mandatory, so the broker must offer a Stop Level value less than 3 pips and a Freeze Level not higher than 2 pips.
The speed of execution is also very important, an order must be executed in less than 2 seconds and an order modify in less that 1 second.
For all these reasons the only way to test this strategy is the “real” accounts way.
Why? Because all demo accounts have excellent performance of execution… but a real account is another matter.
For all these reasons we suggest to use STP or ECN brokers with an average spread lesser than one pip on EURUSD.
Actually NumberOne runs only on the Metatrader 4 trading platform platform, in the next future it will be available also for other platforms like Dukascopy’s Jforex.
Best performances are on high volatility pairs like EURUSD, but some other major pairs offers also good trading opportunities for the wise trader.
NumberOne is protected by a proprietary authorization system.
After the purchase, the customer will receive a license number and the NumberOne installer. After the regular EA install, the user must launch the EA Activation Tool, a license validation program that will ask the provided license number and will validate the installation over the current customer’s PC.
NumbeOne requirements are: Windows Server 2003 or better (2008, Vista, 7) with at least 512MB and 1GHz Pentium class processor plus the .NET 4.0 runtime.
NumberOne do not run on Windows 2000, Windows XP or earlier windows versions.
NumberOne is offered with two license types, both licenses lasts for 1 year, in this period the customer will receive free minor updates and bug fixes.
